groff-1.11a: description + notes
Groff is a text processor which takes standard text along with formatting commands and produces formatted output. This output is then output on another device (such as a printer). Groff's formatting commands allow you to specify the following (among others):
- Font type and size
- Effects such as bold and italics
- The number and size of columns on a page
GNU Groff was written by James Clark. Vince Levey configured and built this package for IRIX 6.x.
