sapd - Service Advertising Protocol daemon
SYNOPSIS
sapd
[ -ds ]
DESCRIPTION
sapd
broadcasts SAP packets to determine the location of Bindery services.
sapd
is typically started by the /etc/rc file. It listens on the SAP socket and builds a name to address cache which is consulted when a new connection is made.
OPTIONS
- -d
-
Enable debugging output.
- -s
-
Explicitly define the name of a server to use for Bindery service. This option is for routing situations where restricted routers disallow SAP information to pass.
