Due to the fact that an error was discovered in Tax Assist'91 
after it had been shipped to you on issue #65, we have included a 
corrected version of the program on this issue (#66) for your 
convenience.  You are receiving the new version in addition to 
the programs already planned for this issue.  We apologize for 
the error.


Everyone would like a little assistance at tax time and Tax
Assist '91 is designed to provide just that for users of the 1040
form.  Print out the program's data gathering forms and use them
to help you collect and organize your tax information. Then, plug
your information into the program's tax calculation section for
an estimate of taxes owed or to be refunded. Don't worry about
getting "stuck" in this program; it contains context sensitive
help files (F1).

The best thing about Tax Assist '91 is that it allows you to play
"what if" with your taxes.  For example, what would your taxes be
if you filed separately instead of jointly? Tax Assist '91 gives
you a way to make tax comparisons and prepares you for a session
with your accountant or tax preparer.

If you plan to file your taxes yourself, be sure to read all the
instructions in the IRS manuals that accompany the forms.  Tax
Assist '91 is limited in scope and may not reflect all the '91
tax laws that affect you. If you haven't filed before, you'll
need to pick up tax forms at your local post office, library or
IRS office. Don't forget or miss the filing deadline! It's just
around the corner and Tax Assist '91 has some assistance for you.
