You merely enter the Time In and Time Out for each day from your employee's paper timecard and TimeCard will automatically calculate the Total Hours Worked, the Total Regular Hours Worked, the Total Weekend Hours Worked, and the Total Overtime Hours Worked (on a daily or a weekly basis). TimeCard can be used for both one and two week pay periods. ^CHow To Use TimeCard 1. Run Lotus 123 (Version 2.xx) or any compatible spreadsheet and open TimeCard from within your spreadsheet. 2. (Optional) - If you want to print out the TimeCard spreadsheets for record keeping, enter the Employee's Name, Department, and Period Ending in cells E5, E6, and E7. 3. Enter the TimeIn/Time Out information for each day in the appropriate cells in TimeCard for one or two weeks. There are two TimeIn/Time Out fields to take lunches into account. Be sure to enter the times in 24- hour notation (4:43 p.m. = 16:43), preceding the time with an apostrophe ('). 4. For Holidays, or if the employee is sick or on vacation, enter the number of Holiday, Sick or Vacation hours the employee should be paid for in the corresponding cells and not in the Time In/Time Out fields. 5. TimeCard will automatically calculate the following information for each week and also, for both weeks added together: Total Hours Worked = all hours entered in the Time In/Time Out fields + Holiday, Sick and Vacation hours. Total Regular Hours = all hours entered in the Time In/Time Out fields for Monday through Friday up to 40. Total Weekend Hours = all hours entered in the Time In/Time Out fields for Saturday and/or Sunday. Total Holiday Hours = all hours entered in the Holiday Hours fields. Total Sick Hours = all hours entered in the Sick Hours fields. Total Vacation Hours = all hours entered in the Vacation Hours fields. Daily OverTime Hours = all time worked over 8 hours in any one day. Weekly OverTime Hours = all time worked over 40 hours in any one week. DISK TEMPLATE FILES: ^FTIMECARD.WK1
