You begin your turn by rolling all five dice. If you like, you can re-roll any or all the dice twice more before selecting your scoring category. Players score in the following manner. Each of the thirteen categories has a rule for scoring. They are: Category A - Ones : sum of all `ones'. B - Twos : sum of all `twos'. C - Threes : sum of all `threes'. D - Fours : sum of all `fours'. E - Fives : sum of all `fives'. F - Sixes : sum of all `sixes'. G - 4 of a kind : if you have 4 of a kind, you total all the dice. H - Full House : if you have 3 of one dice and 2 of another, score 25 pts. I - Flush : if you have 5 dice of one color, score 30 pts. J - Straight : if you have a sequence of 5 dice, score 40 pts. K - Straight Flush: if you have a sequence of 5 dice, all in the same color, score 60 pts. L - Yacht : if you have 5 of a kind, score 50 points. M - Chance : sum of all dice. Bonus Rolls : points scored for unused bonus rolls. Up to five times in each game, a player may elect to roll the dice a fourth time by using a bonus roll. A player may only use one bonus roll per turn. Each player gets 10 points for each unused bonus roll. After each turn, a player must choose one of the categories, even if it scores a zero. A note on the dice and the categories: The positions of the dice on the screen are fixed. The colors on each die are fixed. The 1st and 4th dice are identical, as are the 2nd and 5th. Due to the nature of the dice, there are only two possible straight flushes, one red and one blue. There are NO green straight flushes. The key is the center die. The only possible straight flushes use a red three or a blue four on the center die. The computer will advise you of the possible scoring choices; i.e. which category(ies) would score points for a given roll. It also keeps track of your bonus rolls by listing (in the bonus section) the number of points you would get if you used no more bonus rolls; i.e. if you have 3 bonus rolls left, the bonus section would say "30". If you wish to roll again after entering the scoring routine, press the letter `Z'. The game continues until all categories are filled. The scoring ends after six games have been completed or whenever you request. The game starts by asking each player to enter his or her name, using no more than 10 letters. If you wish the computer to play, enter a name beginning with 'comp' for one or more of the player's names. When you have finished entering names, press for the next player's name if less than five players play. Then each player rolls the dice, with the high roller going first. During play, press the space bar to roll for your first try. After each roll, press the number corresponding to the dice you wish to re-roll. It will be enclosed by a box on screen. If you change your mind on any of the dice, simply press that number again. If you are satisfied with that roll, press with no dice numbers enclosed and the computer will ask you which category to score. Enter the letter corresponding to the category you wish to score. The computer will then ask you to verify your choice. You enter the scoring routine automatically after the third roll. If you have any bonus rolls left and you wish to use one, press 'Z' and you will return to the rolling routine. To run this program outside ^1Big Blue Disk^0, type ^1SUPERYOT^0.
