But before Willy has his homecoming, he must find safe passage through a series of mazes filled with brick walls, bottomless pits, and deadly rolling cannonballs. That's where you come in: your mission is to help guide Willy to his home. You'll be well rewarded for your work: gifts, money, and jewlery lie scattered in the mazes, ready for the taking. Playing ------- There are twelve WILLY THE WORM playing screens -- the way to Willy's home is always on the right side of the screen. You guide Willy with the arrow keys on the numeric keypad. The left and right arrows move Willy left and right; the up and down arrows move him up and down ladders. Tapping the spacebar causes Willy to leap. Pressing any other letter stops the worm in his tracks. Keep in mind that Willy is a good leaper: he can jump onto ladders or over obstacles, and can even change directions in midair. Jumping is Willy's primary defense against those cannonballs we mentioned. If Willy touches a cannonball, he loses one of his five lives. Remember: Willy the Worm's happy homecoming depends on you.
