Brynn Potts 1402 North Highway 21 Ritzville, WA 99169 Phone: (509) 659-1915 (5pm to 9pm only) Brynn Potts was born on December 3, 1981. She is a student at Ritzville (Washington) High School. She lives on a farm near the small town of Ritzville, located between Spokane and Moses Lake. She lives with her family, including her father (Steve), her mother (Karen), her younger sister (Jesse), and their numerous and varied pets. Her father is a wheat farmer and her mother is a Public Health nurse. Brynn has spent much of her time, since about the age of three, drawing. She has had no formal art training. Her favorite art subjects were initially big cats and dinosaurs. By the age of ten, influenced by her parents' interest in fantasy art and literature, she developed a proclivity for this style of artwork. Brynn does pencil sketches of people and places daily. She also works with colored pencils, oils, watercolors, and acrylics. She has sold several of her works and won ribbons and special honors for her entries in county fairs. She participated in the Incon Art Exhibit (a science fiction/fantasy convention art show) in Spokane, Washington, for the first time in 1996. Her plans for the future include a college degree in art. Her goal is to become an artist of the caliber of her favorites, the highly-respected Larry Elmore, Clyde Caldwell, Keith Parkinson, and Tom Canty. This is her first professional publication sale.
