Pam Murray 1810 East Anchor Drive Deltana, FL 32725 (904) 532-5605 Pam Murray started as a painter of figurines with Gallo Pewter, hand-painting Gallo's fantasy designs (many of the drawings in this file are concept sketches done for Gallo. Turning her hand to sculpture, she did many of the company's new and unusual pieces, including an entire Sherlock Holmes chess set. In the modeling world, she sculpted "Screamie," a character who was to be the mascot for SCREAM QUEENS magazine. She then began a series of pieces for Industrial Resin, a Florida-based modeling company; she did "Agent X" and two gargoyles, "The Creature" and "Dracula." More recently, Pam has begun working with Henry Alvarez and Delbert Winans (Wolf's Head Studios). Her first piece there was a bronze figure of Disney's "Goofy." At the same time, she has become involved with a special project with the famous science fiction/fantasy writer, Andre Norton. Throughout this period, Pam has remained in demand for her handsomely finished and painted model kit work, doing many built-ups for store displays and collectors alike. She also finished and painted the prototype used on the box illustrations for Dark Horse's CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON kit. She will continue to do pieces for Wolf's Head Studios, and is mulling over plans for more model kits.
