I was born in Split, Croatia, in 1973.  I have completed studies at the School of Applied Arts and the 
Academy of Fine Arts (in the departments of painting and illustration) in Zagreb, Croatia.

I am now illustrating fiction, children's books, magazines, and sometimes writing stories which I then 
illustrate.  I have also worked on animated films.

My inspiration comes mostly from European traditional music and ethnology and also from studying old 
cultures, mountaineering, and cross country skiing.  My activities also include involvement in ecology 
projects.

My illustrations won a prize in the L. Ron Hubbard Illustrators of the Future contest, a First Prize in the 
Fandom Directory art contest, and have been on exhibit in Croatia and Denmark.
