Christopher Bretz 431 Braeglen Cresent S.W. Calgary, Alberta T2W 1B6 CANADA (403) 244-5492 Although having loved science fiction and fantasy art for years, it is only since my graduation from art school that I have been able to get back into it on a professional level. One of my great loves is dinosaurs (and all other types of paleo-art!) and I have produced various covers for the Alberta Paleontological Society, a local enthusiast group. I have also displayed and sold work at several science fiction/fantasy conventions locally, as well as contribute artwork to a role-playing game, and the scientific illustration market around Calgary. One thing school did teach me was versatility and I am quite comfortable working in many different media, from conte to digital, scratchboard, and acrylic -- I just love to draw! Currently I am working for a Nintendo 64 developer making up-and-coming video games, but I am always taking on freelance work as well, including technical drawings, web-page designs, computer illustration, and of course science fiction and fantasy illustration, which I certainly hope to do more of.
