The Disc has been designed to run in normal DOS mode at this stage and we have done our best at getting it compatible with these other operating systems, but at the cost of a performance sacrifice. So if it consistently locks up your machine, try and boot your computer up in DOS mode instead, before running The Disc. ΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝΝ Q. It is likely that you have the Windows smart drive installed and/or EMS set up with your EMM386 driver, which is consuming too much of your available memory. Remove the \windows\smartdrv line from your autoexec.bat file and change the numeric value for your EMM386 driver to NOEMS.
