To change the Icon Parameters simply click on the Windows Logo lcoated below where the red arrow is pointing. This will open up the Customize Window that you see below. From here you can change the size of the icons, space between icons and display in 16 million or 256 color. It also lets you rebuild your icon cache after you change your icons so you can see the effects immediatley.

First the click the Tab that says Standard Icons, Changing your standard icons is a breeze. Simply drag the Icon from one of the libraries which in he example below it would be Bebox and click the left mouse button and hold it down and move it over the icon you wish to change. Yoiu can also click the Change Icon button at the bottom and this will open a window asking what icon you wish to use. You would use this option if you saved the icon to your hard drive first and wish to use them at a later time. Either way you can change the look of your desktop in seconds.
