Q: Why did I have to wait SO LONG for the final cd?
A: Hm, good question: There were MANY problems during the development and the
   cd changed a lot from the beginning - but finally it's better than
   promised, isn't it?

Q: He, there are only 500 MB on this cd - this means that it's only 3/4 full?
A: Right, I tried to avoid filling the disc with lame or TOO old stuff, so I
   tried to increase the quality of the whole cd by taking only interesting
   'n good quality stuff...

Q: I miss a lot of these elite-demos e.g. from ASM'95 and TP5? What a lamer
   are you, if you doesn't include those great pieces of art on this disc?
A: Well, I HAVE a lot of them but may not use them on cd-rom, coz there are
   often strict licence rights, I have to pay attention to, ya know?

Q: You promised everything to be UNpacked on the cd, but there are some
   sub-dirs with a packed archive in it!
A: The ISO-9660 norm forced me, not to use ANY files with special characters
   inside the file name - so I had to edit the file names or the put them
   in an archive. Sorry - it's sad, but not my fault!

A: There are some other scene cds around, like FreedomCD, AceCD and some
   others... what makes the hss-cd so special?
Q: Well, that are 2 thinX: 1. The mentioned CDs are very limited and reserved
   for pure scene elites, aren't they? The hss-cd is for everyone who is
   interested in ANY part of the music-, art- or demoscene. 2. The hss-cd
   is an overview over EVERY legal scene: ansi + demo + bbs + music + txt!
   The other difference are the german prods. on the cd - coz this is the
   1st GERMAN scene cd, it concerns 1st a huge amount a GERMAN diskmags,
   scene programs and texts. Anyway - it's really worth its money!

Q: You promised a limited edition of the hss-cd including a special bonus
   part. Well, where it is?
A: Well, the cd ideas changed a lot during the development. As the _special_
   part it was planned to get the releases from Assembly'94. Well I GOT the
   permission for it, so it's kinda special part though the ASM'94 releases
   are mixed with the others and there is no special directory for it.
   BTW: The whole edition of the hss-cd is limited, so every avaiable sample
   of the cd is LiMiTED! No more than 999 samples will be produced!

Q: There is a lot of german stuff on this cd, too! Why?
A: Well, this is the 1st GERMAN scene cd, so there should be some german
   stuff on it, I think. But the whole cd (even the menu shell) is hold
   in german AND in english, so it shouldn't be a problem to use this cd,
   even if you are english speaking. But please don't care about the number
   of spelling errors inside the english txt files ( like this FAQ file )!

Q: Why is the cover and the inlay written in german?
A: This is similar to the last question: The cd is mainly sold in the german
   speaking are, so the text on it is in german. But the stuff on the hss-cd
   itself is english AND german, so it's usefull for foreigners, too!

Q: Hm, there is a program fucking up!
A: If that should really happen, try to run it from your harddisk. Many progs
   doesn't like to be started from cd-rom. If that doesn't solve the prob, I
   cannot help you - but don't forget to run it with the right setup datas!!!

Q: The \GAMES on this CD aren't the best and most of them are quite old!
A: Well, those famous sw game hits from epic and apogee are present on
   every second cd around, so there is no reason to spread them on a
   scene cd. The few games on this cd have either something to do with
   the scene or they are kewl (and unknown) enough to be spreaded.

Q: Will there be another scene cd from ZYKLOP in the future?
A: Well, if everything goes fine, the chances are quite good for a new
   scene cd from us - btw: together with TaskMaster (member of Gollum at
   the moment) I had another kewl idea for a new scene cd, it's gonna
   to become great - but at the moment it's nothing but an idea. Well,
   I think we can manage it, to release it during 1996. Anyway, if yes,
   the infos will be spreaded soon enough through the scene.
