The Carol Vorderman's Better Homes Show broadcast which featured this Winning Designs kitchen was on ITV, Monday 28th May 2001.

The kitchen cabinets have birch doors with stainless steel bar type handles. The "amazing appliances" are all by De Dietrich, the black ceramic hob is an induction type which is more controllable and economical than gas and saves 43% in running costs over a normal electric hob. The electronic touch control oven has pre-set programmes, can also be programmed by the user and has a pyrolitic self-cleaning cycle - brilliant! The extractor canopy is stunning with its aerofoil shape and curves. The combination microwave oven is also a fan oven and has a powerful grill. There is also an integrated fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher hidden away in this small but ergonomic kitchen.

The Magic Corner to the left of the window and the striking carousel with curved door and chopping board above to the right of the window use the corner spaces to full advantage. The pink worktop surrounding the sink area is cut from solid lavastone and then glazed with the colour of your choice - fantastic!
