Petersons Natural Floorings have many years experience of supplying solid European hard wood flooring.  We specialize in Oak and Chestnut..Other hardwoods such as Beech and Ash are available to order.

These timbers come from sustainable woodlands.  They are air and kiln dried, and machined to European standards.  The boards are tongued and grooved on all four sides. The normal thickness is 15 or 23mm.  Lengths are random.

We can supply pre-finished flooring, although a better and more economic option is to finish the floor after laying.  A range of finishing products is available, giving a choice of tone and colour.

Our preferred method of fitting is by using a flexible glue, applied on to the base in beads from a cartridge gun.  This is a quick and secure method of installing our flooring, and usually makes battening unnecessary.

Our flooring is particularly suitable for installing on to under-floor heating systems. We can ensure that it is dispatched at the correct humidity. No acclimatizing is necessary.

We supply builders, developers, self builds and do-it yourself projects nationwide.  Our flooring has been specified for National Trust and English Heritage Properties.
We can offer a complete supply, fix and finishing service, or supply only, with advice on fitting and finishing if required.
