I. Introduction:

PLEASE DISTRIBUTE THIS GAME WITH THIS README.TXT FILE.

DO NOT INCLUDE THIS GAME IN ANY CD COMPILATION WITHOUT THE WRITTEN PERMISSION OF THE AUTHOR.

II. Game Information:

Palm Bubbles is a clone of the arcade hit "Puzzle Bobble" for the Palm Devices.

Inside de Zip file you'll find:

• palmbubbles2x.prc: This is a PalmOS 2.x version for the older Palms (Palm Pilot, Professional, etc.) This version is faster and smaller, but only has support for monochromatic screens.
• palmbubbles3x.prc: This is a PalmOS 3.x version that also has support for color and better compatibility with newer systems.
• readme.htm: This file.

If you have a Paln III or newer you'll like to install the palmbubbles3x.prc. The 2x version is smaller and usually faster, ideally for devices with fewe memory (m100 etc.)

This game is SHAREWARE if you like it and want to play the full version and make your own custom levels, please register. The register information is located in section IV.

III. How to Play:

Your goal is to clear all the bubbles in each level of the game. To accomplish this task you must put together 3 bubbles of the same colour, to make then disappear.

You have a limited time to clear the level, do it before the ceiling reach the bottom of the screen.

You control a Bubble launcher located at the bottom at the screen. Using the Datebook and Address buttons you rotate the launcher. When you are ready press the MemoPad button to launch the bubble.

At the title screen, you can start a game pressing the Fire Button (MemoPad button) or just calling the menu and selecting New Game or also you can draw in the graffitti area /N . You can switch sound On/Off at the tittle screen, pressing the page up & Down keys.

There are 12 different types of bubbles, the first eight need to be close to another 2 of the same color to explode. But the later 4 are special bubbles:

• Ray bubble: When you touch this bubble the entire line dissapear.
• Bomb bubble: When you touch this bubble all the bubbles touching it dissapear.
• Water bubble: When you touch this bubble the entire column changes at the same color.
• Mistery bubble: When you touch this bubble you could win 100 points or make the ceiling down 1 row.

IV. How to Register:

Palm Bubbles is shareware, if you like this 3 level trial version please register. The registration fee is only U$S 8.- To register safely, simply go to: PalmGear, you will need to send your Hotsynch ID or the name that appears under the Owner section in the Prefs.

In the full version you can play all the 64 levels and also you can design your own levels!

V. RELEASE NOTES:

• Some minor bugfixes.
• Speedups in the drawing routines.
• Better Gfx.
• When there is 3 or less bubbles left, the game gives you the bubbles that you need.
