FLABBERGASTED! v1.10 - "Read Me" Documentation

This package contains the FLABBERGASTED! v1.10 software toy,
by Purple Planet Software, a division of Alpine Development Associates.
This document contains only a brief description of the package and its
features, along with instructions for its installation.

FLABBERGASTED! is a fully featured evaluation version which includes all
features of the retail program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may
use it for up to 7 days, without charge.  If you like the program, and
wish to continue its use after this evaluation period, you are required
to pay for the program (see http://www.purpleplanet.com for more
details).

Any fee you may have paid to others (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to
obtain this evaluation version was a fee for their copying and
distribution services, rather than a payment for continued use of the
program.

===== Installation =====================================

The FLABBERGASTED! online download package contains a "wizard" which
automates the entire installation process.  A wizard is a program which
guides a user through a process helping to accomplish a task.  You will
need about 2.4 megabytes of available disk space on the hard drive on
which you plan to install FLABBERGASTED!

INSTALLING FROM YOUR DOWNLOAD DIRECTORY

If you downloaded FLABBERGASTED! from a web site or online service (or
received it in the form of archive files from some other source), you
will need to perform the following steps.

   o  Execute the "FLB110.EXE" program which you have downloaded.  For
      example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
      the FLABBERGASTED! package is C:\TEMPDIR, you would double-click
      on "FLB110.EXE" or execute the command, "c:\tempdir\setup" from
      the "Start" menu's "Run" item.

   o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation wizard.
      You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
      are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
      wizard will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
      the FLABBERGASTED! files to that directory.

When you're satisfied that the installation was successful, you can
delete the temporary directory FROM which you installed FLABBERGASTED!
(C:\TEMPDIR, in the above example), including all its contents.


YOU'RE READY TO GO

Once you've completed the installation, you are ready to start playing
with FLABBERGASTED! your new software toy.  Click on the "Start" button,
choose "Programs", "FLABBERGASTED!", then click on "Play FLABBERGASTED!".

Significant time and effort has been invested into FLABBERGASTED! by
many people.  We hope you enjoy FLABBERGASTED! as much as we have enjoyed
producing it.
