We wish to become a meeting ground of ideas, technological advances, and most importantly, sysop support. We are looking to expand our already rapidly growing network, not only with more sysops, but with more developers as well. By developers, we mean BBS software authors, frontend mailer authors, door authors, beta sites, registration sites..... Basically we wish representatives from all major and minor softwares to become a part of our network. Not only for the support they can provide our members, current and future, but for the advertising and promotion on our network. We wish to provide developers a medium in which to reach a large number of sysops with their product. This has two benefits. Obviously, the more members in the network, the more any one developer will look at it seriously to take part in, however the reverse is also true. The more developers the network provides access to, the more members will join the network. With, currently, over 40 independant systems in over eight countries world-wide, Sysop's TechNet is already making a large name for itself among the amateur FTN networks. We wish to increase our reach, increase our numbers, so that we may reach even more networks and provide quality information to them, and provide the best help a sysop can attain anywhere, whether it be for sysops on the IBM-PC and compatable platform, or Amiga and Apple computers. Currently, we have representatives for over 80 different software packages. These representatives are nothing short of authors, beta sites, registration sites, and alpha sites. However, this is a very small list, compared to what it could be. We wish to increase this list, increase the direct support software representatives can give sysops around the world. Please see the included stn-supp.lst file for details and representatives. What are we, as Sysop's TechNet, administration prepared to do? Provide you with a vehicle to advertise and promote your product on the network, whether it be to advertise new releases or new products, give important information on your product. Provide you with an independant echo for your product, depending on some small factors (ie. size of product, type of product, etc.). Offer a centralized support network for your product. All this and more. If you wish more information on this entirely *free* service Sysop's TechNet is willing to provide *all* developers world-wide, please contact Gert Andersen or Jame Clay through many different means: Gert Andersen 111:111/2@STN 2:236/150@FidoNet stn2@kofobbs.net Jame Clay 111:4000/40@STN 1:120/544@FidoNet jame@rocasa.org Also, visit our web site at http://www.sysoptech.net To receive the latest informational packet, please send email to freq@kofo.org with the subject of FREQ and "FREQ STNINFO" as the first line of the message.
