How to access AT&T x.25 net via telnet (c) CyberLirik

NLM plans to transition current Sprint (Telenet), TYMNET and CompuServe network users to the new network. In July
and August of 1995, users in the South Central Region (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas)
should transition to the FTS2000 network. Sufficient communications lines will be available from the beginning and, if
needed, more lines will be added. Meanwhile, none of the existing network connections will be decreased. The plan outlined
here should provide an orderly incremental change.

Access Procedures for DOCLINE:

Equipment standards remain: full duplex, 7 data bits, even parity, 1 stop bit. Terminal emulation is still TTY33/35 or VT100
with no X-ON, X-OFF (or DC1, DC3) flow control protocol and no automatic line fee. The access procedure for direct
connection to NLM is displayed in the following example. Bold face type represents user input; (cr) represents the enter key.
