How do I get Amoniak to free the Buffoon?

You first need to get him to stick out his hand.

He'll only stick out his hand when a goblin goes flying in the air by one of
the mechanisms on this screen.

Hint 3 of 9:

In fact, he'll only stick out his hand if you get the crocodile in the mud
to give you a lift.

Hint 4 of 9:

To get the crocodile to come out of the mud, use something in your inventory
as a bait.  Something he might want to eat.

Hint 5 of 9:

Use the mouse on the mud (F).

Hint 6 of 9:

Then just jump on the crocodile for a lift (F).

Hint 7 of 9:

Now you need to find something to hurt Amoniak's hand.

Hint 8 of 9:

Try knocking down those teeth.

Hint 9 of 9:

With something that will come back to you when you're done with it.
