OPERATION RHINO

German fighter production hinges on
the production of many things and
one of them is engines. The Germans
have recently introduced new versions
of the formidable Fw190 fighter. One
of the plants that build the engine 
for this new version is located in 
Kiel, which is located on the northern
German peninsula of Schleswig-Holstein.

              Mission Orders

Lead your group of B17s on a circuitous
route to the the target that brings you
in from over the North Sea. Bomb the
Kiel engine factory.

Enemy opposition is expected to be 
fierce. Your fighter escort will only be
with you for a short while once you
cross the enemy coast before they have
to turn for home because of fuel
restrictions.

Bomber command doesn't expect this to
be a picnic and does expect you to fight
your way into the target and out again.
