ABFANGEN (INTERCEPT)

German coastal airfields near the Channel
would mount patrols on a regular basis
and hope to catch some Allied aircraft
that have wandered out over the Channel
or were returning from raids on the
continent. Special patrols were mounted
when returning bomber streams were 
detected and their courses plotted.

               Mission Orders

You are to lead your schwarm of Fw190As on
a Channel patrol and watch for any enemy
aircraft that may be in you path. You are
to intercept the enemy aircraft and 
destroy them to the best of your ability.

However, you must be aware that the Allies
also mount patrols over the Channel and you
may run into one of these as well. You'll
also be a long way out and you'll need 
every drop of fuel you'll be carrying.
