VistaStat™ is a unique tool for capturing application, operator and system performance data. Implemented as a 32-bit ActiveX Control (OCX), it will provide time-based statistics for a wide variety of processes or events within your application. Productivity statistics from VistaStat may be stored in any database compatible with Visual Basic or C++ (e.g. formatted text, SQL Server, Access, ODBC etc.). This information can be accessed and viewed by a number of common tools such as Crystal Reports, Excel, Lotus 1-2-3, SQL Queries, Access, etc.

With VistaStat you can count keystrokes, log actual time a mouse is in use, count the number of mouse clicks, or create your own customized event counters or timers to track and record virtually any countable event or timeable period including:

• Keystrokes per document or page
• Count of document types processed
• Amount of time to complete an automated process
  (i.e. ICR, host lookup, file transfer)
• Total fields keyed per screen
• Operator mouse clicks per application
• Number of documents processed
• Number of pages scanned

VistaStat can also report incremental timings so that both system and end user performance can be accurately monitored. Typical examples might include:

• Average user keystrokes per hour
• Pages scanned per day/hour/minute/second/etc.
• Number of ICR characters recognized per second
• Amount of time spent in a given application per day or per week
• ICR read rates by document or application
• Number of user error events in a specified time interval
• Documents processed per day/hour/minute/etc.
