Katherine Ann Power was sentenced to eight to 12 years in prison in Boston Oct. 6 for her part in a 1970 bank robbery that ended in the death of a policeman. Power surrendered in September after 23 years on the run and pleaded guilty to manslaughter and armed robbery. Power and four cohorts robbed a Brighton, Mass., bank in an effort to fund anti-war causes. They got away with $26,000. During the robbery Officer Walter Schroeder was killed.
