Greek - keira = winding sheet

Prepatory to burial, the body was washed, amd frequently annointed
with spices, then stretched out on a bier until it was ready to be
buried (Acts 5:7).

After the washing and annointing, the corpse was wrapped in a linen
winding sheet, the hands and feet were bound with grave-bands, and the
face covered with a napkin (John 11:44).

Greek- othone = a linen cloth, sheet, a swath, bandage

In John 19:40 in describing the burial of Jesus a different Greek word
is used to describe the wrapping of Jesus' body for burial than that
used to describe how Lazarus was wrapped. The word here in John 19:40
is plural, so Jesus was wrapped with many cloths.  Greek-sindon = a
fine linen.  In decribing the wrapping of Jesus' body for burial in
Matthew, Mark, and Luke the Greek word "sindon" is used.  See Matt
27:59; Mark 15:46; Luke 23:53.
