[About The Guide]
Panel options
This dialog box allows you to set parameters for panels. Use
the cursor keys to move to the option you want to change,
then use the Space bar to change it. Press Enter to accept
the dialog box.
[x] Mini status line
This option controls whether or not a mini status line is
visible at the bottom of each panel. The mini status line
shows the full directory information for the file under the
cursor. If you select one or more files, the mini status
line changes to show how many files you've selected, and how
many bytes there are in the selected files.
[ ] Auto directory sizes
This option controls whether or not sizes of directories are
calculated automatically in file panels. When this option is
unchecked, use Alt + F6 or the Directory sizes command in
the Commands menu to calculate directory sizes.
[x] Ins moves down
When checked, the cursor bar will move down after you select
a file with the Ins key.
[x] Unselect during group operation
When group operation is in progress, each selected file or
directory will be unselected immediately after it is copied,
deleted, etc. So, with this option checked, you can see how
many files are not treated yet.
[x] Auto change directory
When checked, moving the cursor bar in a tree panel will
change to that directory after a short delay. If this option
is not checked, you'll have to press Enter in the tree panel
to change directory.
[x] Show hidden directories
Check this box if you want to see hidden directories in the
tree panel and in the Change Tree dialog box. Such
directories appear in file panel with a # between the name
and extension.
[x] Auto rescan tree
This option allows to enable or disable rescanning directory
tree information saved in \treeinfo.ncd file after creating,
removing or renaming of the directory.
Auto change dir time delay
This parameter sets the time delay between moving of the
cursor bar in a tree panel and changing to selected
directory. If you want to change directory immediately, set
this value to zero.
