ARexx is a powerful means of communication between processes on the Amiga Computer. ShowDVI features a very good ARexx interface, and a few ARexx macros have been written that support the communication between ShowDVI, the TeX compiler, METAFONT, the Shell and optionally the editors CygnusEd1 and Micro(GNU)Emacs (MG)2. This paper tries to describe the installation and the use of these macros.
