- If ALT is held while decoding HTML, the decode should be abandoned and the currently decoded text is displayed.
- If the line DEBUG:1 exists in the Messages file.
- While loading pages etc. various info is sent the a file called
Trace
in Websters Directory. If the Application won't run Please send the last few lines of this file.
- If ALT is pressed when the pointer is in the window, then the amount of free memory is printed.
- When an error occurs while reading HTML the System variable X is set to the point in the file that had been read to.
- When any errors occurs Function key 5 is set to the line the error occurred at divided by 10. This is so I can goto that line by pressing f5 twice.
- When any errors occurs Function key 8 is set to the error messages value.
- To stop this behaviour change the line saying DEBUG:1 to say DEBUG:0
- All configurable options in the Messages are gradually moving to one of the Choices windows.
- Want to know which file is what in the Cache? Hold SHIFT and ALT and click Adjust on Webster's icon. A file will then be loaded in to your Favourite Editor that reveals all.
