Naming Conventions

The following are common naming conventions for Objective-C code:

Method and Variable names

lower case first character

upper case for first character of any words in the method name

lower case for all other characters

Examples:

- orderToFront;

- drawWithin:viewRectangle;

- moveTo:aPosition;

Class, Catagory and Protocol names

upper case first character

upper case for first character of any words in the method name

lower case for all other characters

Examples:

Button

TextField

ArchiveProtocol
