NetCom Launches Trial DCS1800 Service NetCom GSM yesterday announced the launch of its trial DCS1800 service in Norway. Initially, the network, which uses equipment provided by Motorola's European Cellular Infrastructure Division, will provide coverage on the central east side of Oslo. On completition of the trial, which will run for three years, NetCom hopes to launch a full commercial DCS1800 service to complement its existing GSM900 service.
