                                  DIS_NG.EXE
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIS_NG.EXE is a decomplier for the Norton Guides written by
Donald C. Mullen. He has given us permission to distribute his
        efforts with this product.

        From the command line, type

        >DIS_NG.EXE EZUI.NG

On a 286 machine (mine is a AST Premium 286) it will take about
        3. minutes to decompile EZUI.NG to a representation of the
source code. (Referred to as representation because it doesn't
give you the massive amounts of notation that exist in the real
        originals.)

The net result of the decompile is
          1) a batch file for recompiling the code to put it back
             together,
          2) a linker (called for at the end of the batch file) that
             puts it back together, and
          3) a series of files named EZUI-??.

Also on the release disk of this product is a file named
EZUI.LNK. This file is functionally equivalent to the EZUI.MNU
file created by DIS_NG.EXE. The difference lies in the fact that
we have taken the time to explain what the files actually are
and explained what to do if a section should need to be trimmed
        out.

We do this in consideration that some people may not require a
specific section to be present forever. The ultimate reduction
off the EZUI.NG is equivalent to the size of the .NGO file that
        was blocked out.
