                             The UI made EZ Tutorial
 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This section is meant for the novice to UI. It is designed to
get to the fundamentals of using the editor. Experienced users
may want to ignore this completly or peruse to see if there is
something here that could have been missed in their day-to-day
usage. I have discovered a few things myself in the process of
         writing this section.

The Bitter Basics section demonstrates the power of UI with an
         immediate application.

This entire tutorial is meant to be used in conjunction with
the first chapter of the manual. The approach elected was, in
The Better Basics section, take was to follow each of the
Function key menus as well as possible to give an example
of how the task at hand may be accomplished. To demonstrate
how things are effectively accomplished, however, it is
necessary to move from one section to another.

If, for any reason, a section is not clear to you we would like
to know about it so the changes can be made.

The alpha testers for this tutorial were three computer
illiterates. That is one step below neophyte and one step above
tutorial writer. This statement is made with no reservations
as they were quick to point out something they didn't understand
         whenever they had doubts.

Keystrokes for you to make while in UI are in bold characters
and placed in brackets <> throughout this tutorial.

Keystrokes for you to make while in the guide are in reverse
video and are placed in brackets <>. Some key remarks are in
color or underlined on a monochrome monitor.

A grey scale monitor only gives reverse video.

At the top of each screen in this guide is a box that contains a
reference to "See also:" if one exists. Where it is believed
more help on the subject under discussion will help, the section
for reference will be in reverse video, i.e., Conventions.

If necessary, review the above section on Conventions to make
         things a little easier.
