GET STATUS LINE NUMBER HELP This option allows you to choose the line for which you wish to view information. To view information about a line, highlight the line and press the SELECT key. Page 1 of 1 GET STATUS HELP The "Get Status" option shows the current status of the selected connection. The following information is shown: "Line Number" indicates which line forms the selected connection and whether the connection is "enabled" or "disabled." "Modem Type" indicates whether the selected connection's modem is a "Hayes Compatible" or "Special Configuration." "Dial Mode" indicates whether the modem makes the selected connection by using a touch tone or a pulse dial mode. Page 1 of 2 GET STATUS HELP "Line State" indicates who established the selected connection, whether it is available, dialing, broken, or being reset. "Baud Rate" will appear as either "Configured" or "Connected" depending on the current state of the line. If the line is connected, the entry will indicate the baud rate at which the modem is connected, not necessarily the rate at which it was configured. "Life Class" indicates the type of the selected connection; it may be either timed or continuous. If the connection is timed, this entry will also indicate how much time remains before the connection will be broken. Page 2 of 2 ADD DIRECTORY ENTRY DIALEE ID HELP "Dialee ID" is the name you select to identify the location you would like to call. This is the name that will be displayed in the dialing directory.
