Step 2: Run the Download Test

1. Go to BrowseFast
2. Download a 100-150K file to your local drive.
   • Record the start time and add it to the results form.
3. Watch the Netscape "Viewing Location", or "Saving Location" Dialog Box for 10 seconds.
   • Add the File Transfer Rate to the fifth row in the results form, named "Netscape Save Dialog Box Transfer Rate"
4. A red "Viewing Location - [2%]" should appear in BrowseFast.
   • Red indicates that the file is being downloaded, or a web page is being loaded.
   • "Viewing Location", or "Saving Location" will disappear from BrowseFast when the download is complete.
   • You can minimize the "Viewing Location" dialog box.
   • You can not view more than five Netscape browsers or downloads from BrowseFast.
5. Record the ending time.
