You can use most of Netscapes email capability from Navigate with an Accent. If you choose New Mail Message from the File menu, the Message Composition window opens. This window allows you to send email and newsgroup messages, which can include Internet pages and disk files as attachments.
To access the Netscape Mail window, select Netscape Mail from the Window menu. This gives you access to all of Netscapes email features.
For more information, refer to the on-line Netscape Handbook and choose Mail - Receiving and Sending Email from the Index.
If your mail client supports MAPI applications, you can send an email message that automatically includes as an attachment the Web page you are viewing. Select Mail Document from the File menu. This will run your mail client program. A new window will appear for the message. Your Web page is included as an attachment. Address the message and send. For this feature to operate, your email address and email server must be configured specifically for Accent (see below ).
You can send a message by clicking a mailto link or typing the email address in the Location box in the format mailto: email address. Unlike using the Message Composition window, you must configure this function independently in Navigate with an Accent. To do this:
When you click on a mailto link or open a mailto address in the Location box, the Send Mail box appears. You can use this box to send regular messages. To send email with attachments, you must use the Message Composition window or the Netscape Mail window as described above.
You can use Netscapes newsgroup features from Navigate with an Accent. Select Netscape News from the Window menu to display the Netscape News window. For more information, refer to the on-line Netscape Handbook and choose News from the Index.
Although you cannot access a newsgroup by clicking directly on the news link while using Accent, you can add a newsgroup manually by opening the Netscape News window, selecting Add Newsgroup from the File menu, and typing the newsgroups address.
