Living-Stones
Also called flowering-stones, mimicry plant, or stoneface
(Lithops species)

Living-stones looks just like a small rock split down the middle.  It rarely blooms indoors.

Light
Place in high light (southern exposure) year-round to better odds of bloom.

Water
Allow soil to dry out between thorough waterings.  Water just enough in winter to keep leaves alive.

Temperature
Maintain average temperatures.  From 50 to 80 degrees OK.

Comments
Use porous, sandy soil.  After planting, never repot or pot up.  Do not feed.  Propagate by seed in spring or by division of mature plants in early summer every three to four years.
