Kangaroo Vine
(Cissus  antarctica)

An easy-care, quick-growing foliage plant, kangaroo vine has large, oval, shiny leaves.  Either train up a support or display in a basket.

Light
Place in high light (southern exposure) in winter.  Provide medium (bright indirect) light rest of year.

Water
Keep evenly moist except in fall and early winter.  Then, water less.  Do not let plant dry out.  Mist as frequently as possible.

Temperature
Maintain temperatures of 65 to 70 degrees during active growth.  Provide three-month rest period during winter with temperatures from 50 to 55 degrees.

Comments
Prune when young for bushiness.  During active growth, feed with mild solution every 14 days.  Stop feeding in fall and early winter.  Clean leaves regularly.  Propagate by tip cuttings taken in spring.
