One of the most pleasing indoor foliage plants, false aralia has lacy, graceful foliage.

Light
Expose to medium (bright indirect) light.  Avoid full sun.  Grows well if under artificial light 16 hours per day.

Water
Allow soil to dry out between thorough waterings.  Mist daily if possible.  Raise humidity to deter red spider mites.

Temperature
Maintain temperatures in the low 60s for best growth.  Plant tolerates average temperatures.

Comments
Plant in porous soil for good drainage.  Fertilize every 14 days during active growth.  Sponge leaves once a month with tepid water.  Don't apply leaf oils.  If lower leaves drop as plant ages, cut it back to start new growth.  Propagate by tip cuttings, root division, or air layering.
