Dragon Tree
Also called Madagascar dragon tree
(Dracaena marginata)

Sturdy and adaptable, dragon tree may take years to mature.

Light
Place in high light (full sun) in winter and medium (bright indirect) light the rest of the year.  Tolerates low light.

Water
Allow soil to dry between thorough waterings.  Mist daily in warm seasons, more often in hot weather, and never in cool weather.  Increased humidity prevents brown leaf tips.

Temperature
Maintain high temperatures in day for best growth.  Average temperatures OK.

Comments
Pot up in spring if needed.  Feed every 14 days during active growth.  Clean leaves monthly.  Propagate by air layering, stem cuttings, or seed (keep soil at 86 degrees).
