The Import Web Site dialog box enables you to import the Web Sites from remote servers (FTP and Web servers) and/or from your local computer.

You can import the sites, site fragments, or separate files, and use them as a new site project, or add them to the current project.
To import site and start a new project, select File > Import Site > New... from the main menu.
To import site into the current project, select File > Import Site > Merge... from the main menu.

The dialog box contains three tabs: Import Zone, Import File, Advanced.

The program imports the files (including subfolders) from the Import Zone (included subfolders and files) that are somehow connected to the Start Page. The pages or resources should be linked from the Start Page, or linked from a file that is linked from the Start Page, and so forth. You may also include a file from the Import Zone that is not connected to the Start Page, but you need this to be in your Web Site, - forcedly include.

The Import Zone section contains a tree-control of the Import Zone, and Zone Management buttons. The Zone Management buttons are:

In the Start Page section enter the URL of the Start Page. To select a page that is located on your computer, click the Browse for Start Page... button and specify the page.

In the Import File tab, browse for file(s) to import on your local computer by using the Browse button, or enter URL for the file by clicking Add URL.

In the Advanced tab, clear the appropriate check to not import images, sounds, video, applets.
You might need no files of those types from the specified zone in your project (e.g. they might have been be copyrighted too large).

The program can add the imported files to the Logical Layout if Add to Logical Layout is checked. Otherwise, you may clear the Add to Logical Layout check box and all imported files will be added to the Physical Layout only.
When merging the imported files with a current project, select the parent page for new files. The imported files will be added to the logical structure as children of the selected page.
