After you install Netscape Navigator Dial-Up Edition,
you must use Account Setup Wizard to set up your Internet connection. Before
you use Account Setup Wizard, you need to know whether you already have
an Internet service provider. This chapter helps you determine whether
you already have a service provider, and tells you what to do next.
If you're not sure what an Internet service provider
is, first read "How does Netscape Navigator
Dial-Up Edition connect me to the Internet?" in User's Guide.
To help you determine whether you already have an Internet account, answer these questions:
If you answered "yes" to any of the
previous questions, then you already have an Internet account. Go to "Using
Account Setup Wizard if you already have an Internet accountr."
If you answered "no" to both of the previous questions, Account Setup Wizard will help you establish your Internet account. Go to "Using Account Setup Wizard to help you establish your Internet account."
You might already have a bulletin board or shell account (also known as a Telnet account) that lets you access other computers. However, such an account doesn't give you full access to the World Wide Web (including graphics and multimedia). For full access to the World Wide Web, you need an Internet service provider.
