Ken Elkins

Photojournalist shares his view of Alabama

Ken Elkins has worked as a photojournalist for 39 years for The Huntsville Times and The Anniston Star. He has won more than 200 awards for Excellence and has published many of his striking photos in books. He currently resides in Anniston, Alabama and works as the Chief Photographer for "The Anniston Star."

We present to you a selection of his beautiful photographs proving that a picture can, indeed, tell much more than a thousand words.

All negatives are cropped and printed by the artist. Most prints are printed full frame. All prints are printed inside an 11X14 print and moutned with a black or gray 16X20 mount board. All prints are signed by the artist.

"A Wagon Ride" -- Henry Caldwell, in Jacksonville, Al., drives his wagon down Jacksonville Street. He lived to be 102 years old and was better known as 'Ole Henry.'
