26th ANNUAL OLD TIME FIDDLERS' JAMBOREE & CRAFTS FESTIVAL - Smithville, TN - July 4-5 - More than 100,000 will be here to hear and play old-time bluegrass music and browse around the 300-table juried arts & crafts show. 42nd ANNUAL GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN HIGHLAND GAMES - Grandfather Mountain, NC - July 10-13 - I'll take that haggis barbeque style. The world's largest gathering of Scottish clans is not in Scotland, it's in the highlands of North Carolina. Colorful tents encircle a highland meadow, hundreds of tartan banners fill the air and, like Braveheart, kilt-clad Scots come forth, but to compete in traditional games, not to wage war.
