PNL LTSM:
Table of Contents

The U.S. Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest Laboratory (PNL) has developed a computer software program called the Lighting Technology Screening Matrix (LTSM) to help building energy managers make quick and accurate decisions about improving lighting energy efficiency. The software takes as input the existing lighting configuration and economic parameters, and outputs the optimum new lighting configuration.

The Greening of the White House CD-ROM has an interactive section with sample outputs from the LTSM program, but these are not available on this internet site.

LTSM is available at no charge to federal building energy managers. PNL is also looking for private sector companies who would be interested in commercializing the product.

There is more information on LTSM and its companion tool Lighting Systems Screening Tool (LSST) at PNL's technology transfer web site.
