NASE supports forming Congressional office to analyze government regulations
The National Association for the Self-Employed has endorsed a proposal
to create a Congressional Office of Regulatory Analysis to track
regulations made by federal agencies, providing Congress with
nonpartisan information about the affect of those regulations. (More.)

Self-Employed Health Insurance Would Become
Fully Deductible Under Senate Amendment
Health insurance premiums for the self-employed would become fully
deductible by the year 2007, under an amendment to the Senate version of
1997 Tax Fairness Act. The amendment passed Friday on a 98-0 vote in the
U.S. Senate. (More)
