Second Air Force Officer Follows in Kelly Flinn's Footsteps

A second Air Force officer accused of being involved with a fellow officer (who he later married) was allowed to resign, rather than face a court martial.

Second lieutenant William Kite, a security police supervisor at Whiteman Air Force Base, MO., was charged with two counts of fraternizing with an enlisted woman and then lying about the relationship, according the Chicago Sun-Times. He will receive a general discharge under honorable conditions, one step below an honorable discharge.

Family Planning Destroys Families: Lousy Use For Tax Dollars

Family planning is apparently a lousy use for tax dollars, and Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) wants to do something about it. He's sponsoring an amendment that would eliminate funding for all international family planning programs-- about $400 million annually that goes to International Planned Parenthood and other groups that advocate family planning and birth control.

Indeed, apparently birth control destroys families, according to Judie Brown, President of the American Life League. "Americans should be concerned with improving the plight of the less fortunate around the world, not with finding new ways to use our tax dollars to destroy families." she said.

The House vote on the amendment was scheduled to take place July 17.

Second-hand Smoke Doesn't Affect Flight Attendants?

Flight attendants who work in smoky airplane cabins only inhale the equivalent of five cigarettes a year, a tobacco attorney told a jury in a $5 billion class-action lawsuit.

The lawsuit, filed on behalf of 60,000 current and former flight attendants, states that smoke in the cabin gave the attendants cancer and other heart and lung ailments.

Remember this next time you lose your voice after sitting in a smoked-out cabin on a transcontinental trip, cough cough.

More Dead Babies in East Coast Bathrooms

Another woman gave birth to a baby and ditched it in a public bathroom-- though this time, the mother remains at large.

The infant's body was found in a toilet in a Hempstead, Long Island, NY courthouse, after someone reported a foul smell coming from the bathroom.

Man Sues Women's Club for Discrimination

A women's-only health club in Boston is being sued by a male lawyer who claims that it discriminates against men. The health club states that women join to avoid gawking males, and 20% of those women have said that they would leave the club if it goes co-ed, the UPI reports. The lawyer who's suing the club tried repeatedly to join the club, and he believes that it's the pot calling the kettle black - if men's clubs aren't allowed to exclude women, he says, women shouldn't be allowed to exclude men.
