Perfect vacation photos... What better way to document your travels than with a camera? Try a little "people watching" before you click the shutter. This will help you to anticipate the moment you really want to capture. Pay attention to the background. That will help you recall the location, long after you return home. If you're getting a shot of a couple near London Bridge, go for a wide shot that will include the bridge and fog, and anything that depicts landmarks. Don't leave the camera behind in bad weather. Sometimes some of the worst weather conditions produce some of the most breath taking pictures. You can get unexpected and unusual photos, such as a bolt of lightning crashing into the sea, or the sudden appearance of a rainbow rising over a snow capped mountain. If you want to hold an action moment, freeze it with the camera's fast shutter speed (1/800 of a second or higher.) Wear something with pockets so you can drop used film in them and reload quickly. Don't worry about over shooting. You want to have enough memories so that you can revisit these places again and again through your photographs. |
