Soothing Lotions

Babies get dry skin and itch just from too much bathing or the dry heat in the wintertime. Have a simple lotion (not an oil which can clog the pores) like MOISTUREL or KERI lotion on hand . I like these because they have little odor and no perfume or alcohol in them.

Sun Screen

For sun exposure (even in the winter) your baby should have a sun screen on even if you're just out with the stroller for a brief walk. Babies have very sensitive skin and burn easily. I suggest EUCERIN FACIAL MOISTURIZER because it has an SPF of 25 which blocks the bad rays of sun and has no alcohol to dry out the skin. It's OK to use this all over your baby's body and it is unscented and pleasant in feel, not greasy.
