This American Life

I recently guested on National Public Radio's This American Life. The show, hosted by Ira Glass and produced by WBEZ-Chicago, aired on or around Feb. 7, 1997, on most NPR stations across the country. It was a real treat for me to appear on this terrific show and the folks at WBEZ couldn't have treated me better. It was their Valentine's Day episode and they kindly allowed me to read six installments of the popular BRETTnews feature, Men My Mother Dated.

If you missed the show, here's your chance to hear my appearance via the wonder of Shockwave. It's streaming sound that starts right away, no heavy-duty downloading necessary. To listen, just click on the red and orange icon. If you don't yet have the Shockwave plug-in, you should (warning: it requires a connection speed of 28.8 or higher). It's free for the downloading; just click on the blue icon below.
