Bart: What's your favorite color?
Lola: I don't have a favorite color because I don't think there is such a thing. All colors are beautiful with each other. A disgusting turquoise can be very beautiful next to a certain brown. There is no bad color. I wear black bottoms because it's flattering and I wear soft colors on top -- dusty periwinkle, soft browns, soft yellows with a little bit of grey. The only color I don't really like very much in the abstract is blue.
Bart: I love blue. And green.
Lola: Blue is the most popular color in the world.
Bart: What's you're favorite period of art?
Lola: Medieval. It's very mysterious and it's very disproportionate. There was no perspective and the children look like old people. The Middle Ages was a fascinating time. They were very confused and had no idea what was up or down. Was the world flat or round? It was a really, really scary time and full of mystery and people were terrorized and mystified by everything. I love the art of that time, the armor, the architecture. The hats were stupendous. Everyone wore these weird turbans that they twisted around and arranged on their heads.
